Refund Policy

Last updated: May 2026

We strive to deliver every engagement with the highest standards of professionalism. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be requested and processed.

1. Introduction

At Namuwala Consulting LLP, we strive to deliver every engagement with the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy and timeliness. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be requested and processed for the professional services rendered by us.

By engaging our services and making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted this Refund Policy in full.

2. Scope & Applicability

This Policy applies to all professional service fees paid to Namuwala Consulting LLP for services including but not limited to accounting, bookkeeping, GST registration & returns, income tax filings, ROC compliance, business registrations (Pvt Ltd, LLP, OPC, Partnership, Proprietorship), trademark, FSSAI, IEC, MSME and any other advisory or compliance engagement.

Refunds are governed exclusively by the terms of this Policy and the service agreement signed at the time of engagement.

3. Eligibility for Refund

You may request a refund of the professional fee component if: (a) Namuwala has not commenced substantive work on the engagement; (b) the service cannot be delivered due to reasons solely attributable to Namuwala; or (c) the engagement is terminated by mutual written agreement before delivery.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@namuwala.in within 7 days of the original payment date, clearly stating the reason for the request, the service availed and the invoice/order reference.

Refund requests submitted after 7 days, or after substantive work has been performed, will not be entertained except at the sole discretion of Namuwala.

4. Non-Refundable Items

Government Fees & Statutory Charges: All fees paid to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Income Tax Department, GST Department, Trademark Registry, FSSAI, RBI, EPFO, ESIC or any other government authority are strictly non-refundable, irrespective of the outcome of the application.

Third-Party Charges: Stamp duty, notary, courier, digital signature certificate (DSC), domain registration, hosting, payment gateway charges and any other third-party expenses paid on your behalf are non-refundable.

Work Already Performed: Fees for consultations, advisory calls, document drafting, return preparation, filings already submitted or any other work substantively completed are non-refundable.

Application Rejections: Rejections by government authorities due to incorrect, incomplete or false information provided by the client, or due to internal departmental discretion, are not grounds for refund.

Promotional Offers & Bundled Plans: Discounted, promotional or bundled service packages are non-refundable once activated.

5. Delays Caused by Client

If the engagement is delayed or fails due to non-submission of documents, delayed responses, incorrect information, non-cooperation, or any other reason attributable to the client, no refund shall be payable for the time and effort already invested by our team.

If documents remain unfurnished for a period of 30 days from our last reminder, the engagement may be treated as closed and fees stand forfeited.

6. Refund Process

All approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days from the date of approval, to the original mode of payment (UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit card or net banking).

Refunds will be made after deduction of: (a) all non-refundable items listed above; (b) a reasonable charge for any work already performed; (c) applicable taxes (GST) which have already been remitted to the government; and (d) payment gateway charges, if any.

You will receive a written confirmation once the refund has been initiated. Bank processing timelines (typically 3–7 additional working days) are governed by the respective banks/card networks.

7. Service Failure & Re-Performance

In the unlikely event that a service is not delivered as per the agreed scope due to an error solely attributable to Namuwala, we will first attempt to re-perform the service at no additional professional fee.

If re-performance is not feasible, a proportionate refund of the professional fee component (excluding government fees and third-party charges) will be processed.

8. Cancellation by Namuwala

Namuwala reserves the right to decline or terminate any engagement if: (a) the client fails to provide accurate information or required documents; (b) the engagement involves activities that are unlawful, unethical or contrary to professional standards; (c) there is a conflict of interest; or (d) the client is non-cooperative or abusive towards our team.

In such cases, any unutilised professional fees (after deducting work already done and non-refundable items) shall be refunded.

9. Consultation Charges

Fees paid for paid consultations, advisory sessions or expert calls are non-refundable once the session has been scheduled, regardless of whether the client attends.

Free consultation slots may be rescheduled with prior intimation of at least 4 hours. Repeated no-shows may impact future scheduling.

10. No Guarantee of Outcome

Namuwala provides professional services with reasonable skill and care but does not guarantee any specific outcome, approval, refund amount, tax saving or favourable order from any authority, since such outcomes depend on the applicable law, facts of the case and discretion of the concerned authority.

Unfavourable outcomes are not grounds for refund.

11. Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal without first communicating with our team and following the refund process described above shall be treated as a breach of this Policy.

Namuwala reserves the right to contest any such chargeback with documentary evidence of work performed, and to recover associated costs from the client.

12. Disputes & Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of this Refund Policy shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties.

Failing amicable resolution, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

13. Changes to this Policy

Namuwala reserves the right to revise this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The version in effect on the date of payment shall govern the engagement.
